The weather was decent enough to open some hives up this week.

Some of the colonies are absolutely booming and desperately needed more space immediately.

Popped into the garden to check on the hives, all look well, few bees moving around the #Abelo hives. Very mild 9 degrees here. #Ukbeekeeper

This is a picture of me, I’m Vicki a middle aged lady in a full bee suit. It’s beige coloured. There’s hives in the background which are pale blue. Some are individually painted with flowers, hearts and fruit. I’m not a great painter but I try my best. I like to make my bees feel at home.
