The Japanese invasion of the #Philippines that began on Dec. 8, 1941 forced #GeneralMacArthur to order a withdrawal to Bataan under War Plan Orange 3, allowing troops to delay Japanese forces. By early Jan. 1942, #USAFFE forces established a defensive line on #Bataan.
