On Dec. 29th, 1890 about 300 Lakota men, women and children were massacred by US Army soldiers at Wounded Knee creek in Oceti Sakowin territory. We remember the pain, we pray for the cycles of trauma since and act to heal everyday onward. The greatest testament to our strength as Native people rests in the fact of our continued existence AND resistance.
