This week a group of vintage Willys Jeeps rolled into Muskegon as part of a 1,500-mile backroads road trip. No GPS, no highways. Just maps and adventure. They overnighted at the USS Silversides, celebrating a piece of American road trip history.

All the things finally aligned and I managed to get outside for a bit and head to the #USSSilversides Museum in #MuskegonMI for some photography.

I could make selfish comments on the difficulty of photoing in a WWII submarine; but it can't stop hanging on the head the reality of living on one.
