HAHA? I'm sorry for the supernovas that have been replacing my fingerprints. I think this world might end or, worse, I'll be here forever. I've been entreating my hope to an empty notebook where I was once planning on scribbling my autobiography in broken white crayon but I've been distracted by how life keeps strutting on despite the bile that seeps from the gaps between my teeth. I think she's stretching out her hand and asking that I hold on, even offering a kiss on the scars that adorn my cheeks. I don't know if it's sad or valid that I'm still questioning that offer for even the cesspit of sadness will taste of candy when it's been force-fed into your mouth for eternity by an unconfident comedian.
She's so young

but she puts on a brave face

Struck suddenly, unravelled,

nearly fifty years of being shamed for things like emotions and being born female I learned young everything I'm not good for and I believed it they gave up on me without giving me a hint of a chance I've been silently worn from years of fighting for chances believing I was never good enough I'm unconfident and don't know how to take a compliment so please be patient as I adjust to this - I might finally be good enough
