A pair of Flabellina sp. (nicknamed "verrillis") in a field of pink hydroids, which they eat. These nudibranchs can get up to several inches long and come in orange, purple, and red shades.
A solitary Flabellina sp. crawling across an algae covered rock to its next meal, perhaps those pink hydroids in the right foreground?
We see Dendronotus frondosus at other sites, but they are typically under an inch long. This one was probably 3-4 inches!
Coryphella verrucosa are quite common around New England, but they are larger and much more abundant at this particular site.
I took my fisheye lens for its first New England splash and the results did not disappoint! Giant nudis in a field of pink hydroids in Portsmouth, New Hampshire!

Purple and yellow, small fish flanked by two other types of fish. All hovering over a bunch of coral from a reef.
The best photo of a Hawaiian Cleaner Wrasse I've ever taken. It's the purple and yellow one in the middle. They eat stuff clinging to other fish, thus "cleaning" them. Kinda like me eating chip crumbs off my t-shirt.

A translucent, saucer-like marine animal floats against a deep black background. Its body looks almost like clear glass, with many fine lines radiating from the center to the edge, forming a delicate circular pattern. Resting on the upper surface of the bell is a tiny octopus — the male argonaut — pale and lightly speckled, appearing small compared with the jelly.
