First step, put the unicycle in the cargo bike, so that I have transport home.

Yesterday I got a puncture when out with my cargo bike. So I left it behind, and came back later on the unicycle with tools, a repair kit and a pump. I fixed up the puncture, then put the unicycle in the cargo bike and cycled home. #UnicyclesArePractical

I am glad I have the four inch wide tyre. Hard to see here but at points there is bumpy ice under this snow and the tyre just absorbs the difference. You hardly feel it.

Now granted I don't buy and use things like unicycles or pocket watches for practical reasons but it is suprising how often my odd choices turn out to be practical after all, at least for some use cases.

It is worth experimenting and not just going with the status quo.
