New professional women’s basketball team coming to Savannah as founding member of UpShot League A new sports venture is coming to the Hostess City. Beginning in May of 2026, the UpShot League will be played at Enmarket Arena.

The Bananas baseball and Ghost Pirates ice hockey have been sports success stories in Savannah. Now comes a team in a women’s basketball developmental league. The team, owned by the Ghost Pirates’ brass, begins play next March. #upshotleague
