#Ursulin was a Duskwight studying as a conjurer in Gridania. Of course he was bullied relentlessly for years with the adults enabling it.
At one point Ursu's biggest oppressor paid mercenaries to get rid of him, but they all got absolutely destroyed by Ursu's demon getting out of hand in response.
i usually only bring up Onion, but these 4 guys have their designated minions that are canon in their lore.

#Ursulin never finished his education as a conjurer/white mage, but wanted to be of use as a field medic once he fled to Gyr Abania. He learned from other medics there for years, figuring out how to adapt by combining his magic and their traditional healing methods for efficiency.
#Deucalion needs glasses for his hyperopia. He very much needs them to see well and is never really seen without them.
#Ursulin has a mild astigmatism and while it doesn't bother him during daily activities, he does need glasses for reading not to strain his eyes.
#Ursulin just straight up hates most of Gridania's population - especially those in power. They might as well be dead to him.
A silly one, but #Deucalion has a personal beef with Cid. It's like what Nero has, but without the "divorced husbands" vibe. Deu is just snarky about how cocky Cid is.

#Ursulin is the kind of healer you question about his medical licence. He's cold and hard to approach, but gets the job done. He's the biggest Gridania hater you've ever met and refuses to step his foot anywhere near it.
He's also possessed by a demon and practices Blood Magic instead of White.
#Ursulin never celebrated Starlight, even with his family in Twelveswood. He's not necessarily against it and will join on the dinner, but he will NOT set foot in Gridania and would rather spend the rest of the evening with a book by the fireplace, sipping mulled wine and eating cookies.

#Ursulin, much like Deu, has no fear. In his case it's the result of being used to the horrors since his early years. Being possessed by a demon as a young boy, Ursu pretty much grew numb to things, that others might find disturbing.

I barely ever talk about the last 2 guys in my alt roster, so gonna yap 🧵:
#Ursulin is a Duskwight in his late 40s. Hosting a voidsent/demon inside him ever since he got lost wandering around Tam-Tara at a young age. Killed his Gridanian bullies and fled to Gyr Abania for the next 2 decades or so.
#Ursulin was an "accident" when his parents were young and not yet married. They chose not to have any more children in fear of not being able to raise them properly in poverty and Gridanian prejudice.
Ursu wishes there was someone left to watch over his parents, though.
#Ursulin uses a dark version of WHM, because he's not attuned to the elementals and instead uses the powers borrowed from his resident demon living inside of him (i'm playing around with the hemomancer m*d for him and it's rly fitting).
I'd also love for #Ursulin to have a variant dungeon exploration themed around ancient Gelmorran ruins. Not only as a tribute to his ancestors and the Duskwight legacy, but also to possibly find answers about the demon who latched onto him during his night in Tam-Tara.

#Ursulin? Absolute enigma. You can never tell. He always looks like a mix of not giving any fucks and being permanently annoyed. When he's upset his demeanor doesn't change much. He may furrow his eyebrows a little bit more, but that's it.
#Virimu and #Ursulin both have a strong dislike for
Kan-E-Senna or just anyone on a high position in Gridania. Ursu avoids the Twelveswood like a plague, but Viri sometimes had to work with her or the Adders for the Scions and could not stop himself from being snarky towards them.
