Finally had some time to twiddle a bit with enemy units in #Usurpers. They now can roam around aimlessly while looking left and right. When they meet a wall nearby they redirect and move on.
A bit harder than expected, being that it was the first time doing this, so, it went well.

Localization in software development is so crazy complex. It's just 🤯ing hard to accomodate for every language.
All the hard work is already done in the #Godot engine (and most others). But it's still not something you just do without preparation. #Usurpers will use accomodate any/all. #Devlog
I used to use Crafty Notes OTF for #Usurpers, but after review, I found that it only supports basic glyphs so I decided to switch to a new one.
From now on the project will use Tagesschrift. It's a medieval looking font that I like very much! #GameDev #Fonts

Implementing a Horde class that will take care of all the enemy units AI. At this point I'm wondering if I'm overdoing/overthinking it, but then again, I WANT to see those units react to what's in the world around them, so I'll try to keep it.

Among multiple hours of hitting ⬇️ to watch YT shorts, I managed to properly bring some of the procedural tilemapping of #Usurpers to the latest version of Godot.
It's not done yet, but it's now fix enough that everything is in place.
Lastly, I should've stayed with the deprecated way until forced.

Sad to say that I had to forego the plugins I was trying to use for the settings page.
Sadly they either needed me to modify their own stuctures/code or they didn't look good to my taste. So, I decided to do my own version.
Drawback is, it'll take longer.

Enemy spawning mechanic is now implemented. This closes that branch and it's been merged with main.
There's more work to be done on grouping of enemies vs the sister in play, etc but that's okay.

My brain doesn't want to brain today. The engine is running in the background, waiting on a breakpoint while I've been browsing my timeline for the last hour & listening to music, doing basically anything BUT code and work on #Usurpers.

Feeling like the weight of the world is on my shoulders for no reason when I try to work on #Usurpers. Not sure why. But I hate the feeling.
It's like there's this self-sabotaging part in me somewhere working hard to fuck me over. I won't let it win, but damn it's not easy.

Work today was good. Finally felt myself again. Pain level is fine, manageable.
The work on enemies is continuing and there is a lot to do to make that work. Younger me did good work on previous commits in preparation of this (I had forgotten). 🤣

Music, temp art for each sister, the dungeon generation (bugless I hope) and each sister's attacks.
There are no enemies, yet, but it's on my todo list "next."

- Proper fix for Bowwoman being able to attack while busy.
- Removed unnecessary check when char attacking to check for business.
- Changed get_tree() check getting soft error for is_inside_tree().

Finally got particles to collide with things. Yay!
It's never going as fast as you want, but we'll get there eventually.
With that the Mystic's attacks are settled. At this point, all 4 sisters are set. Things might change though.
