Does it seem like we just had a meeting? We did, but this will be our “April meeting” as the regular date falls on Easter.

We're saddened to learn of the passing today of Gino Paoli.
Considered an iconic Italian singer-songwriter, and a leading voice of his generation, he redefined modern Italian music.
He appeared just last month on the cover of @RollingStone.

We were blessed to have special visitors to #VIAC this week!
The first was from the Italian Consul General in Vancouver, Paolo Miraglia Del Giudice.
The CG was joined by Consular Correspondent Silvana Saccomani. After a tour of the Centre, they enjoyed a lovely reception, catered by our members.
With many thanks to #VicTheatreYYJ, we were thrilled to be part of the #VicFilmFest yesterday, with a sold-out crowd!
We sponsored the film, #Primavera, featuring music by Fabio Massimo Capogrosso - who flew from Rome to #yyj to join us for the film, and a Q&A!! 🎬🎥🎼

The Consulate has moved up the deadline for passport renewal applications. The new deadline is January 14th - THIS WEDNESDAY - at midnight.
