#octoberhorrormoviechallenge #31horrorfilms31days ๐ #day14 - #innocentblood The 90's was not a good year for director #johnlandis . Every movie he made in that decade flopped, such as the Sly Stallone comedy Oscar (haven't seen it, but it definitely looks like a flop), Beverly Hills Cop 3 (which is the worst one in the franchise), The Stupids (which was okay to me, but I can understand why this movie isn't well liked), Blues Brothers 2000 (which was not a good sequel at all, the whole movie felt so pointless!) & Susan's Plan (which I have never heard of & I doubt anybody else did, so it's no wonder why that one flopped!) I guess the only successful project Landis directed in the 90's was the Michael Jackson music video Black & White (though I don't think that video got the same acclaim as when Landis directed the Thriller music video) Even this movie became a flop, but this is honestly the only good movie Landis made in that decade! Sure it tries to be in the same style as An American Werewolf in London, but doesn't quite succeed, but it still has an interesting plot, great gore effects, a colorful almost over the top bad guy played by Robert Loggia & some nudity plus boobies! ๐๐ Maybe the story would have worked better as an episode of Tales From The Crypt since it was around the same decade & the movie would have definitely fitted as an episode of that show. It's an underrated, forgotten John Landis movie that is worth seeing, at least once. #vampire #anneparillaud #neckbiting #redeyes #robertloggia #openflesh #openribcage #nurse #smokingarm #decapitatedarm #censorednipples #censored #fuckcensoring #anthonylapaglia #strippers #donrickles #vampiretransformation #bloodandgore
