Another piece of graffiti on the local graffiti wall by the skatepark, most pieces last between 1-4 weeks so there's often something new. Difficult slide to colour correct - it's not so green in reality

Exposing to the right (ISO set to 64, spot metered highlight at +1.5) gave enough leeway to correct during scanning where desired although often the effect wasn't bad enough to need it, just lending a warm cast to the slides.

Continuing the Keukenhof gardens tulips on a grey and drizzly day, however the tulips were still colourful.

Seascale beach at blue-hour under a partially cloudy sky. The tide had gone out recently so the sand was wet and the almost flat beach acted as a mirror for the sky's rapidly changing colours.
Seascale beach, classic (cliche) sunset shot from near the water's edge looking out to sea about 10min before sunset. Everything is very orange as an, expected, consequence.
Seascale beach, ripples in the sand left behind by the retreating tide glistening in the golden hour/sunset light like the ridges on a giant fingerprint.
Seascale beach at blue hour looking south towards Drigg. without the figures on the right horizon it would be hard to imagine how enormous it feels and how alone you are with the wet sand mirroring the sky for miles around when the tide is all the way out.

Heron taking off from the bank of a canal/ditch. It is leaping into the air with it's wings stretched out upwards ready for the first downstroke of flight.
Heron flying away from me along the canal it just took off from.
The heron comes in to land around 50m down the canal from where it originally was. It's wings are outstretched to slow down and it's feet are about 1 foot off the ground - reaching out for it's footing to land on.
Having landed the heron now folds it's wings and walks off slightly huffily.
While I was out near Spottersplein besides one of Schipol's runways, I spotted another heron. It got a bit bored of having it's photo taken so made it's escape. Shot on #Velvia100F #slidefilm #believeinfilm
