A knit vest for a toddler using the Vest Friends pattern using Stroll Effects in Hummingbird, a variegated green pattern. All the rolled edges are done, but there are still no buttons. Some pink clip stitch markers are visible marking where to apply the buttons
To my surprise I decided to risk Yarn Chicken on this knit vest and didn’t get close.
Now a question… should I sew on buttons first and then block or vice versa

Almost finished with the #vestfriends vest by Tin Can Knits. Just need the edge for the armholes and add buttons. Looking really good. Might use my other hank because current one is running low.

Continuing to knit #vestfriends for a special kid. Finished the fronts and linking last night. Now about an inch and a half? Two inches? Past the underarm. 🧶
Started up a new project on Wednesday. The #vestfriends pattern. (I undid the left front after this cuz I caught a dropped stitch and overcompensated) but loving how this knit up so far! Another gift for my nephew. Oversized so he can wear it for another year or two. 🧶
