one of the best things about ol #vinb was not just his acerbic interview style but his institutional memory of Irish politics. He always contextualised current affairs in the light of politics 10 or 20 years previously, something I don't see any current journalist doing #speirgorm
Oh yeah absolutely. The whole "freeman of the land" movement started with millionaires not wanting to be evicted from their Dalkey mansions. There was a great #vinb episode about it.
