A smooth 11th Century font with one of its three simple faces - eyes, nose & mouth. The font cover has three handles with a cross at the centre. Aaron’s Rod is carved around the circumference.

Yes, they were remarkable Victorian ladies. Eventually it was just #VioletPinwill who ran the business right up to her death in 1957.
I think you will find the website interesting - particularly if you use the menu to look at churches in Devon or Cornwall. There you will find lots of pictures.
