View of the Pont de Normandie, a magnificent cable-stayed bridge designed by Michel Virlogeux and opened in 1995. Magically beautiful, it looks like a pair of harps or inverted tuning forks. The center span is 850 meters, more than half a mile long, and was for some time the longest cable-stayed bridge in the world.
