“A study cited by the Post-Dispatch estimated that a 30 second ad in the Superbowl costs $7M. The value of the tax break in #BOABB161 equates to 5 seconds of advertising time at the Superbowl.”

How will the Board of Aldermen justify approving a personal property tax abatement valued at $1.2M for Anheuser-Busch, when the brewery is spending in the region of $40M in ads for the Super Bowl LIX?

The $1.2M net present value of the tax break to A-B is a pittance compared to A-B's outlay for the Super Bowl ads.
The City of STL, SLPS & taxing districts need the $1.2M! BB 161 is a blatant money grab by A-B which the BOA should reject.
