The #whitecollarrecession is rough. I keep hearing only 1-3% of resumes are even seen by a person, let alone followed up on. I optimize, follow up, etc. but only get callbacks about 5% of the time (so, I feel I am doing way better than average), but after 100+ applications, still no offers.
