From the Library of The Keepers.
In the old legends, it speaks of the battle in which the Spider Lord, Redisp, fought and was struck down by Amadeus Cloudtalker, the King of the Seven Immortals. Here is the account:

In the year of Kroi, the sixth turning, the fury of the Spider Lord poured forth from the land of Romm. First, his mighty Orus knights were sent against the city of Agaren, home of the water-people. These man-friends sent for aid to the capital of Aylira, but none came, and the entire race of the water-folk were erased from history.
With the wall of the water-folk's kingdom eroded, the human lords begged for the intervention of the Keepers. The matter was brought to Lord Cloudtalker to take into advisement, for only the King of the Seven can order an execution. As the Varlin lords were considering the proposal, Redisp unleashed his most monstrous creations. The vile Redispahn, born of his flesh, and implanted into the water people. Parasites, who never forgot to gather the fresh hosts from a battlefield. They took the wounded, and kept them alive to nourish themselves with the blood. An army of puppets, trapped in their own bodies. Such a blatant act of necromancy was unforgivable, and the Varlin lords descended upon Redisp, destroying the whole of his armies, and throwing him from the tallest tower of his own castle, which then came crumbling down upon him. Thus the Immortal Seven smote another wicked foe.

Special Notes: One should really read the history of the Necromancers before this article.

A random bit I dug out of my #WIPGraveyard. My only foray into high fantasy.

Was written for a video game world that I never learned how to program.

May necromance this world.
