My five star review is below. I loved reading this wonderful book by Norma Curtis. I especially loved the characters of Cora and Frank whose love overcame all obstacles in their way. It’s a dual time fictional story, which was brought to life linking present times with memories of the everyday hardships of life, love, heartbreak and loss during WWW2 set in that particular area of South Wales of the three friends Cora, Gladdie and Megan and more importantly the power of love and of hope for a brighter future which they impart to their new friend Elisavet through their shared experiences. The story brought true war time facts, and a place in existence to this day to my attention.
I loved this #Book so much by Norma Curtis that I bought the paperback.
