A close-up shot of a dark and textured stone surface featuring a carved triskelion, which is a motif consisting of three interlocked spirals, likely found in Roslin Glen Country Park near Wallace cave. The stone's surface is rough and weathered, with small bits of debris scattered around the carving. The triskelion itself is deeply etched into the stone, with the spirals evenly spaced and connected at the center. To the right of the stone, some ferns and other foliage add a touch of nature to the scene. The overall tone of the image is earthy, highlighting the natural and historical aspects of the location.

'Wallace Cave' Both Willam Wallace (1290s) & Alexander Ramsay of Dalhousie (1340s) used the caves/tunnels below the slighted Hawthornden Castle as a secret base to raid English convoys & camps. Allegedly spiders webs covered river side entrance so search parties didn't enter. #WallaceCave
