A beautiful Audubon’s warbler sits behind a couple bare branches thinking of his next move. He is gray with black accents and bright yellow patches on the throat chest and wings. You can also see a hint of a yellow crown.

This small male Common Yellowthroat is in the warbler family. He has an olive-green back/wings, yellow throat/chest, and a distinct black face mask with a white forehead border. He was perched on a brown vine with green leaves against a blurred green background. Seen at Great Meadows NWR in Concord, Massachusetts.
