Betroydal wavellite with some split crystals to show the radiating lime pattern these stones have. A lime is a very good reference for the inside, while a green cheese puff describes the whole crystal. This is a rectangular carrier rock with wavellite clustered in the center left
A close up of wavellite with a more blue/Grey coloration on the ends with a pop of lime green in the center. The radial crystals are truly very pretty, with the spokes of this mineral clearly defined. Absolutely gorgeous.
A large wavellite crystal sits on a carrier rock with a cluster of betroydal pale green lumps under the striking main crystal.
This looks like an owl eye with an iris, a pupil, and an outer cornea all in lime green and separated by rings. The deep green/black in the center is a striking contrast.
Some unbroken betroydal crystals of wavelite to show it as a whole, as opposed to the cross sections before. Lumpy circular shape, with carrier rock at the bottom and the lime green nodules of wavellite above.
#wavellite is an aluminium basic phosphate mineral.
Distinct crystals are rare, and it normally occurs as translucent green radial or spherical clusters.
Its cute, but it's going down.
