Last night, my husband and I attended the Ft. Wayne Philharmonic Concert and Peter Boyer's "Ellis Island: The Dream of America" composition was performed. EVERYONE in this country needs to see this performance and take it as a reminder that immigrants are the heart of this nation. #WeNeedTheArts

By closing the Kennedy Center, he changes the narrative. It's now gone from a platform for protest and a sign of his failure to a vanity project. I hope no one will touch it, but I fear it will get the same treatment as the East Wing.
