Sharing again for the evening crowd. I got myself back onto a Game of Thrones-related posting schedule, one every two weeks, like in the old days when I'd blog in-between seasons.
Those were some good times.
For #WesterosWednesday
#WesterosWednesday
It’s Tax Day, but more importantly, it is #WesterosWednesday
This is a shorter article, mostly about why it is important to me that Duncan wasn’t knighted (in my opinion)
Tomorrow, I have a #WesterosWednesday post scheduled, but I was just reminded of this classic gem of mine:
(I make no apologies.)
Side by side images of Ser Duncan the Tall, wearing his armor in the right image, in profile looking at the second image, who is Dunk wearing his regular clothing, and looking uncomfortable (he's trying to get on the tournament list and the keeper of the games is annoying him.)
Even though Tomorrow is OMG PAY YOUR TAXES, ARE THEY DONE? day, I did find the time to write up a short #WesterosWednesday post for tomorrow. I talk about why a certain controversy about Ser Duncan is meaningful and important to me. (I don't weigh any evidence, this is just vibes.)
Sharing this one last time today for the evening Game of Thrones/A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms crowd.
We all think Ser Steffon sucks, but I have to give him his props for something. Yes, I have to. DEBATE ME! (Or not, it's fine.)
In another fortnight, I'll post another #WesterosWednesday article.
Good morning! It’s Wednesday, #WesterosWednesday, and time for me to stick my neck out and defend this bum:
Goodnight everyone and farewell to the month of March.
I feel we had too high an expectation for your Ides, but hope springs eternal.
Tomorrow will be #WesterosWednesday and my publicized "In Defense Of ..." post.
(And maybe a surprise...)
Sharing again for the lunchtime ASOIAF crowd, today's bonus #WesterosWednesday post, still talking about the Trial of Seven.
It's Wednesday, #WesterosWednesday! Last week, I had a (long) post where I tracked the action of the Trial by Seven from the first Dunk and Egg season. This week, I follow up by justifying my identification of the Kingsguard knights in the action:
Picture shows the lineup of Aerion’s team from the Trial of Seven, with the 3 Kingsguard selected in black box outlines. Two of the KG are wearing their helmets, the 3rd has not yet put his on.
Tomorrow, I’ll make my case that I can keep track of these three featureless knights in the Trial of Seven
Look for it on #WesterosWednesday
Pic is a screenshot of a Wordpress post titled “In Defense of Ser Steffon Fossaway” There is currently no text to the post, just the title.
I’ve got my bonus #WesterosWednesday blog post scheduled for March 25th, and I’ll soon be working on this next post for the following week (despite the timing falling on April 1st, it isn’t an April Fools post, I promise.)
I should be on track for a bonus #WesterosWednesday post this week.
I could probably finish it today, but I have Dungeons and Dragons this afternoon...
🗡🤓🛡
Okay, my last re-post of this for today (I promise.)
This is today's #WesterosWednesday post, it's a detailed breakdown of the Trial of Seven from AKotSK, but then I pose a question I then try to answer. You might enjoy reading it (but you're not required.)
It’s Wednesday, #WesterosWednesday, and I have prepared a longish post talking about the Trial of Seven from A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, where I ponder a question of some importance - why are Daeron the Good’s Kingsguards so under-performing?
It’s Wednesday, #WesterosWednesday,
and I have hot off the presses a fresh blog post of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms and Game of Thrones content:
Happy #WesterosWednesday (are hashtags a thing? Someone help me out.)
