Not to mention unlocking $49 million in federal funding and a projected $9 BILLION of economic development in the state.

I created the Office of Outdoor Recreation in my first budget, and we're going to keep supporting the success of this thriving industry.

ICYMI: After 30 years of Wisconsin's checking account running a deficit, we've ended every fiscal year I've been governor with a positive balance.
Today, we have a $4.5 BILLION positive balance, and a record-high balance in our state savings account.

In 2024, Wisconsin added 967 housing units thanks to programs and historic state investments signed into law by Gov. Evers
I was proud to sign a budget that provided the largest state investment in affordable housing in state history. And through programs created by that historic investment, we've added 967 housing units in 2024 alone!

Since 2019, we've improved and repaired over 8,600 miles of road and over 2,000 bridges.
UPDATE: We've repaired or improved more than 8,600 miles of road since 2019.
