Local cows graze around the lodge and local herders come over for refreshments. The cows are Nguni cattle and are famous for their beauty.

Inside the lodge is comfortable seating and also the place where all the home cooked meals are prepared. You can get chips, chocolates and various drinks from the reception.

Breakfast is available every morning and includes the famous Xhosa bread. Vegetarian options are available.

Bulungula Lodge is a spectacular community owned lodge on the Wild Coast of South Africa. This is one of the most beautiful places to visit in winter during the #sardinerun and land based dolphin and whale watching is an absolute must.
