What a fantastic week for #BlytheHill as amazing volunteers dug up a huge hole, built hedges, and made a dream come true, a new wildlife pond. Canโt wait to see frogs, newts and dragonflies enjoying it soon.

@bbcspringwatch.bsky.social So glad to hear on todayโs programme that there is going to be no extraneous, unnecessary music! Just natural sounds. I wish such loud unnecessary music did not drown out the presenter as it often does, even on #DavidAttenboroughโs #WildLondon #BBC
The #Roseburn Path in #Edinburgh is exactly the kind of city #GreenSpace #DavidAttenborough, in #WildLondon, is pointing out are at risk and in need of protection #R4Today #SaveTheRoseburnPath www.savetheroseburnpath.com

The image is a close-up photograph of a male red fox sleeping peacefully on the ground. The subject almost fills the whole frame. Heโs the dominant dog fox of the family group that I have been watching in the gardens, known as Notch due to an old injury that has left a small notch in his left ear. Heโs curled into a tight ball, a common pose for warmth and security, resting on a bed of brown, dried leaves with patches of green vegetation. These are mostly brambles and the early unfurling of Spring wildflowers in this small copse of mature trees. His eyes are closed, and his bushy tail is wrapped around its body and face.ย His fur is a mix of reddish-orange and greyish-brown tones with black on the back of his ears, white on the inside and on his almost hidden muzzle. The light is soft under the trees, highlighting the texture of the his fur and the earthy tones of his surroundings that he is able to blend into and remain hidden from most passersby.

Who else was obsessed with the deer scenes in Wild London? ๐ฆโจ
It was such a spectacle seeing how brilliantly they have adapted to city life.
Got deer local to you, maybe even popping by for a cheeky snack in your front garden? ๐ฟ

I think, even if you don't live in London, #WildLondon is a great watch.
My least favourite stat: By the end of summer there could be as many as 14,000 slugs in a london garden ๐ฎ
My most favourite quote: The best place to enjoy nature is close to home ๐
Just caught up on Sir David Attenboroughโs beautiful and uplifting #WildLondon. Quality television from the master, extraordinary for a man approaching his centenary this year. I just feel better for watching it!
Anyway, Attenborough's #WildLondon is a wonderful, joyful, positive picture of humanity and nature in perfect harmony, so enjoy it while you can, because, well... www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m...

The frustration and boredom of watching Spurs is being eased by Sir David Attenborough and #wildlondon.
What a beautiful programme. Could have done with less slugs, though.

Thought I'd reskeet this so my small number of followers have something positive in their timelines. Stop doomscrolling and watch this instead, you won't regret it.
