I had fun doing some odonate (dragonflies and damselflies) monitoring today at the @urbanrivers.bsky.social #WildMile on the #ChicagoRiver. The river really is in remarkable condition, considering what it once was. I also learned about duckweed (Lemnoideae), a floating aquatic invasive plant.
