4 photos from a 1995 Enduro race where they put 100 cars on a 1/4 mile track - winner was 1st to do 100 laps or 1 hour. I lasted the hour but did not do 100 laps in that hour! When I got spun to face backward the announcer said “Oh chivalry is dead” (I think there were only 2 females in this race of 100 cars) but I managed to turn around and keep racing. My car was a 1980 Plymouth, an old police car, black with white doors. The trunk was covered with a huge spray painted Star Trek symbol and AC/DC. The front doors have “60” my starting position on them. One photo is a closeup of a rear door that my family and friends signed. According to the Enduro race rules, the car had all windows except the windshield removed, the doors were welded shut and the interior was gutted (good friends took care of prepping it). Fun time!
