Sophia felt like she had a little more energy, and she got off her bed and told her parents she was going to the park. When she got there she found her memories of Bellamy and played together with them for a while. It wasn’t as fun as if she was really there, but it was better than being lonely. For Sophia, it was almost like saying goodbye. (The word "together" is highlighted)

All text: Ralph was already walking over with the snake. “That’s a big step for you, Miranda,” he said to the first woman. Then to the second woman, “It’s time, Jill. Just take some deep breaths. He can’t hurt you.” Jill pushed back in her chair, her face white. “You don’t have to hold him. Not yet,” he said with iron-clad calm. “But it is time for you to have some closer proximity.” Jill clenched one arm around her body and bit down on the tightly formed fist of her other hand. “Nope, nope, nope,” she said into her fingers as Ralph began to transfer the snake to Miranda. “Snakes never really bothered me,” Miranda said. “I guess it’s funny for someone in this class to say that, but it’s true.” “Most of them in our area are harmless,” Ralph said with warmth in his voice. “Okay, first take him behind the head. Here, like this. There, you got it.” “He’s so smooth,” Miranda said in a barely contained whisper. “Shh, not too loud. Nice and calm.” He took her other hand and placed it on the snake’s body in an almost erotic fashion. “This one goes here. Remember, gentle but firm. You don’t want to hurt him. There, you got him!” But as soon as Ralph took his hands away, the snake’s tail lurched free from Miranda’s grip and, by some obscene stroke of bad luck, whipped Jill on the arm. Half the class jumped up and Jill fainted. Things should have been going better by now. The fact that we had a fainting in the class was going to draw ire from the county parks department who was sponsoring our program. The class was now divided into two factions with half of them mad at Miranda for letting the snake whip Jill, and the other half mad at Jill for overreacting.
I'm calling this a class or a "program" for people with a certain specific phobia, but forum works well here, too. From my short-story WIP "Things That Crawl Around on the Floor."

There wasn't a trace of connection between that family and Kyoka's resources. There was absolutely zero indication of a setup, or a trick, or a fancy performance to keep up the long-con for Himari and her family. And furthermore, the family's nightmare was fully verified. Incident reports by medical personnel and the couple of other exorcists they'd tried were wholly aligned with the simple summary the mother had given. Pulling IP records only confirmed the mother's usual computer accessed Kyoka's online forum, and the post explaining her daughter's plight was consistent as well. Nori couldn't find a thread to pull despite her intense suspicion. She finally stopped, clawed her hands through her blue hair as she ducked her head, and anguished rage contorted her face. Her teeth grit, her eyes clenched, her brow knitted together. Even if Kyoka was a demon-host, nothing tied this exorcism to suspicious activity. Nori started to cry. The rage fell away for the anguish as she quietly huffed and sobbed against her own control.
