The Margarets' letter in praise of retirement

In 1962, they wrote a joint letter of "grandmotherly advice" on the joys of retirement to their fellow #WomenEngineers in The Woman Engineer journalS, listing designing & supervising building of a sports pavilion & conversion of stately home into a boys' school as part of their retirement activity.

A highlight of my 2022 visit to India was giving a talk to women students at my alma mater, the oldest engineering college in Asia, which graduated the first three women in 1943.
