First bowl. Idk if its maple or ash. The package of wood blanks was supposed to tell me which was which but all they marked was the mahogany blank. haha.
Finished with a BLO beeswax mix. (Think ill try to make a food safe finished next)

Of course not! That stuff is dope. I love how it feels to turn and it's quite pretty-- those little red streaks that sometimes jump out are delightful little easter eggs, like finding a bit of saffron in your paella.

Pacific yew bowl with moments of live edge. From one of two yews that lived right in front of our house until a couple of weeks ago. Grain can be pretty wild and colors are obviously striking. My mother absconded with it when my folks visited over the weekend.
