Cathy from Essex SLC was diagnosed with glaucoma at 11 and told she might lose her sight in her 30s or 40s. Now 50, she still has a good level of sight thanks to consistent care and speaking up about her eye health.

Glaucoma is often called the “sneaking thief of sight” because vision loss begins slowly in peripheral vision and many patients don’t notice symptoms until the disease is advanced.
