April 2025 I was fit, training for a 2nd ultramarathon. I felt flu-y, 48h later in hospital. 24h later I was peri-arrest. I was delirious and struggling to breathe. 2 weeks later I left hospital and began the long road to recovery that I’m still on. #sepsis can happen to anyone.
