Adding Askaly today because, as those of you who read the snippet with Bǐng noticed, she's a big fan of animals! And since then, if she had to choose, she'd definitely say she wants a panda! xD
In #WorldWithoutLove, Briaca has a horse called Persé. She does like animals, buuuut it's hard (6/7)
In #WorldWithoutLove, Briaca is forced to face a truth that shatters her entire world and, in the end, makes her feel like the biggest fool in the universe.
Qinyang, funny enough, has more than one of those moments. But they're [redacted]. (3/3)
... her and Sareena could be pretty fun x)
In #WorldWithoutLove, that would be Elodie! She's just... strangely cheerful, which isn't something often found in the Aphrocalypse. It irks Qinyang to no end 🙃 (5/5)
She also sleeps better once she gets together with Ashrah 💜 #CaptainNitara
In #WorldWithoutLove, Briaca is both quick to sleep and quick to wake up. She's used to sleeping in less than comfortable positions during her campaigns, so her senses have been sharped accordingly.
Qinyang would (6/8)
... being a captain of a warship does teach her a lot about cooperation and mutual aid.
In personal matters, though, it's a lot harder for her to open herself to help. She doesn't want to bother anyone.
In #WorldWithoutLove, Briaca is in the same "issues order" mentality when it comes to (3/5)
... have. She also became a competent Veilbound with a focus on Nether energy.
In #WorldWithoutLove, Briaca has had a lot of experience with combat, both melee and magical, and that's why she's a General of Aphrodite, after all!
Qinyang is experienced with stealth and disguise and thievery (5/7)
Sareena is very reliable as well. You can absolutely trust every word she says and thinks and describes.
Or can you? 🤔
In #WorldWithoutLove, Briaca is trustworthy. She can't lie, to her mother's chagrin.
Qinyang is a very different story. For a portion of the book, you don't even know (3/5)

Back to March of the Deathless Sun, a moment just after the scene with the statue of Zeus I shared a couple of days ago.

Askaly has the terrible habit of biting her lips and chewing on the skin around her nails... which totally isn't something she inherited from me 😅 Like her mother, she's just terrible at hiding her emotions, really.
Who else is terrible about hiding their emotions? Briaca from #WorldWithoutLove +
#WIPSnips 20. “Dart”
March of the Deathless Sun again, this time in General Heartbreaker’s POV… as she gets the feeling something may not be quite right.

Aaaah, the moment I always eagerly wait for new readers to reach, and it never fails! xD
Glad you're enjoying the ride! 💜🙌🏽

... make another noise or play another trick just to loosen everyone's nerves!
Askaly's would cry Nitara's name and go to her ỏmay (mothers; yes, I finally created a more interesting word for "mother" in Kraslan!) before anything else, with Xiuying running after her.
In #WorldWithoutLove (3/5)
#CaptainNitara
In #WorldWithoutLove, Qinyang is Chinese for "sunshine of my heart" and Briaca is Breton for “the one with force and light.” Both of these related to their personalities as well as the themes of the story.
And that's basically how I choose names for characters: if it comes (4/5)
#WIPSnips 19. “Addition”
From March of the Deathless Sun, coming back to the game after a long absence! 🌞

... require dedication!
In #WorldWithoutLove, Briaca, much like Ashrah, is proud of her fighting skills—with her three weapons, too, one of them being a spear, which tells us she's not a bigot like Ashrah 😂
Qinyang, like Sareena, is proud of her "deceiving techniques." She's very good (5/6)
#ChroniclesOfTheRealms is *very* violent, and my answer to yesterday's AwesomeCharacters illustrates that 😅
bsky.app/profile/saya...
#WorldWithoutLove is fairly violent, too, though it has a "lull" there with Book 2 being less bloody.
I feel like I could mention a lot of things here, but I'll go with the violence and gore, and that goes both for #ChroniclesOfTheRealms and #WorldWithoutLove. The former is a passion project, and the latter is self-published, so in both cases: I do whatever the Hells I want 😎
... her in EF 👀
Kitana can be pretty harsh as well, as she's more aligned with Ashrah than it initially seems. Definitely not squeamish, as we'll get to see.

For #WorldWithoutLove, well... this is how Briaca's first chapter opens:

#AwesomeCharacters I was so excited about the prospect of meeting Ashtara that I forgot to include an answer for #WorldWithoutLove:
I'd like to visit Greece. After the Aphrocalypse, it basically became a dark fantasy version of Ancient Greece, so I'd like to explore that before (and after) I die!
... her... okay, let's stop here. In short: if she's around, you'll know it.
In #WorldWithoutLove, Briaca is pretty similar to Nitara, including being a tall and muscular lady (no wings, though) 😂 Briaca has an advantage, though: thanks to her Heart Magic, she can make sure others won't hear (4/6)
Ishana, one of the MCs in This Is How Immortals Die. I thought people would hate her more than anything, but she became the favourite of most who read the book 😅

... find out.
While the skin heals after the tarkatan removes the blade (by breaking them, which is another source of extreme pain), it never completely heals, and there's a constant throbbing in the area that never leaves.
In #WorldWithoutLove, Briaca earns a gruesome "wound" near the (6/7)
#AwesomeCharacters There's a lot of death in #ChroniclesOfTheRealms, as you probably know, but 90% of those deaths are background characters. But that other 10%...
Yes, important characters do die, both in this and in #WorldWithoutLove. It has to have meaning, though, regardless if it's a (1/3)
1st-person narration. This is hilarious because I started writing This Is How Immortals Die in 1st person as a test, just to see if I could write something cool in that voice. And then I wrote and published it and GoRR in 1st person for some reason I still can't understand 😂
#WorldWithoutLove
... food until she realises it sucks.
I'm afraid Nitara's bulk wouldn't allow her in most rides 😅 She she would stick to the carnival games and give everyone a cool souvenir at the end!
In #WorldWithoutLove, Briaca would be excited to try every thrill ride. Qinyang would too, but she'd (2/3)
I kind of already did with Garden of Rotten Roses 😂 It's a much more slice-of-life and calm book compared to This Is How Immortals Die and the other two that will (eventually) come out, and I knew fans of the first may not enjoy that. But I wanted to write it, so I wrote it!
#WorldWithoutLove
Heeey, look at that, my book is famous! 🔥💜
Thank you for talking about TIHID, Bill—including, of course, about the unforgettable sex toy 🤣
Also, I had totally missed that you had created this channel! Gained a subscriber! 😄

Currently editing Eternal Flame, first book in #ChroniclesOfTheRealms. Also world-building the series, which is an ongoing process.
Editing the first few chapters I had already written and reworking the outline for March of the Deathless Sun, Book 3 of #WorldWithoutLove.

In #WorldWithoutLove, Briaca has a similar experience to Nitara in the sense that she's a general and has learnt (4/6)
