A woman walked past my table, chatting animatedly on her phone, laughing at something I couldn't hear. Her wool coat brushed the space where my leg was. There was no sensation of touch, only the faintest whisper of static electricity and the surreal sight of fabric moving through the vacant air where my shin should be. She didn't pause. She didn't shiver. She didn't look down to apologise. To her, the air was empty. I was less than a ghost; I was atmosphere. I was background radiation. I was the breeze that no one notices until it stops.

I check the submission grinder very regularly on who sent out acceptance/rejection, and looking at Flame Tree Publication being more active wrt Horror and Folklore call they had back in September, I'm quite excited to get a response (most likely rejection)

Oh wow, it's a month filled with rejections, at least all the old pending ones (greater than 60 days) have sent a response.

And since it is a numbers game, just sent out stories to 4 other magazines. Fun times.
