Shore Cottage, Kilchoan, Ardnamurchan. Shore Cottage in Kilchoan, a historic building now used by the West Ardnamurchan Jetty Association, has a past tied to the fishing industry and the estate. Originally built around 1840 as model fishermen's cottages, they were refurbished in 1884, including raising floor and roof levels and adding panelling. The cottage is located on the site of a former netsman's bothy, right on the coast, with views of the islands.
