To top it off, I'm ahead of schedule for my #WritingGoal this month, I have finished a book, alpha reader finished another, and I jumped back into the book I started in May! #AuthorLife is good!

Now, if my hubby and our landlord could figure out the plumbing issue, everything would be grand!

Check in time. One month down and one to go to complete my WIP draft on my self-imposed deadline... and I think I'm going to make it! I made a lot of progress in August. The end is in (distant) sight. Giving myself deadlines helps me push through the rough spots.

Writing can be so hard. The best thing I’ve found to help my writing is to stay consistent. It’s not the idea of people reading my work, getting published, or becoming famous.

It’s just every day I write around 1000-2000 words per day in stories I enjoy.

Editing comes later.😅

I've reaching my #writinggoal of 500 words a day every day (except for 3 days of my 5 day cruise) since I started it on January 12. This week, I kept my 500 word goal on my fiction project but added another 500 # wordgoal to start working on my blog and blog posts again.

I think I've narrowed down my #writingproject and #writinggoal. I'm officially starting #day1 of my #writingmyfirstnovel. #writingcommunitysky

In January, I wrote 20,255 words in project Animus Bond, hitting my #writinggoal but not my #editing goal. I only made it to 75% with Last of the Chosen Ones.

75% might not be 100%, but it's still great #progress and I can finish it this week.
