Jann: I’m not great with the language, but math is math, and I can read their numbers - Jann: Look at this here, whatever these unit they are measuring, these numbers are climbing fast, across multiple systems... and this is gauge is clearly a countdown. I have a few guesses to what... but, none of them end well. Jann: Asha, any luck on the trans- Asha: -Just got it, that label reads “weapon reactor chamber.” It’s a weapon! Get down there now, it’ll fire in ten minutes…!

Jann: This seems like a military installation, I’ve seen a number on Kelrenia but never in this good of condition. Mike: That is our current guess, Dr Del-lex’s mission was going to go up in few months to figure it out. The engineers just finished installing the docking and hab module and have only done some minor scouting. Jann: We’ll need to find the command centre, we should be able to figure out what this brutalist machine does there. Thankfully the Rymina seemed to have pretty consistent layouts of military facilities. Jet: They sure put brutal into brutalism. Panel 2: Mike, an anthropomorphic lizard, and Asha, an anthropomorphic Aussie-Shepard, looking at a computer console. Mike: Our linguist will be set up in a moment, she’ll be up there with you in 36 hours but you have her on the comms for now. Asha: Avenier One, this is the linguist, do you copy? Panel 3: A shot looking at the Aveniers from behind with a sentry like warrior statue stand at attention a good 30 meters back. Nadya: We copy Asha: I’m Asha Jemison, I’ll be your translator. Nadya: Lovely, we are heading to the command centre now. Panel 4: A shot from above showing the four Aveniers floating their way down the hall. Asha: Once you get to the command centre, hook me up and we can get to figuring this place out. Jann: Wait, you’re one of Dr Dawson’s colleagues, correct? Asha: “Colleagues”, yeah. Jann: Good to know we're in good company, we’ll need to do our best to not get caught in the weeds of this station’s history until you can get here. Diane: And be prepared for how settling this place is, it ain’t feel right.

We have something urgent. Nadya: This is Avenier One. We hear you, Seabay! What’s the problem, Mike? Mike: We need you to investigate a Rymina station. We thought it was dead, but something’s going on. Dr. Lastid, you’re the best we have right now. Jann: This feels more like Dr. Del-Lex's field? She’s much more familiar with Ryminan tech. Why not send her? Diane: Jann... Panel 2: Mission Control where Mike, a frog man, is leaning against a wall while a worried Capybara and an Australian Shepard look at him. Mike: We are, but there’s some logistical holdups. This can’t wait – we’ve been picking up strange readings on the sensors, increasing rapidly – and you can make it there faster. Figure out what’s wrong, shut it down ASAP, and maintain your position; Dr. Del-Lex’s team should arrive in approximately 36 hours to relieve you. Shouldn’t be a problem for you four, I’m sure? Jann: So, a temporary patch job? Mike: Yep! We’re getting a linguist set up down here to translate the Ryminin, once you reach your destination. Do what you can with what you have, and give us your wishlist for parts and supplies; we can use the delay to better outfit Dr. Del-Lex’s ship. Jann: Can do! Mike: Nadya,keep the direct line open until we've solved this. Nadya: Confirmed. We’ll line up the trajectory and be there as fast as possible. Mike: Copy that, Avenier 1. Panel 3: Jet smooching Jann on the cheek. Jet: No doubting yourself, dork. Jann: Sorry…! Panel 4: Nadya pulling Jann down and smooching her on her cheek. Nadya: I second that.
