Kona Bicycles releases a newly redesigned Hei Hei XC race model with 130mm front, 120mm rear travel. This is the OG high end XC race model dating all the way back to 1991. The geometry is very aggressive for an XC bike.

Is the Down Country category of MTB already dead? As XC race bikes gain more suspension travel and slightly longer/slacker geo, we think so. Basically, modern XC race bikes have become Down Country bikes eliminating the category.
