The LibDems are not on Twitter because #XisNotTwitter. Musk took Twitter and made something else out of it. What Twitter was simply doesn't exist any more. If you wouldn't join Truth Social, you shouldn't stay on X just because it used to be something else. Well done the LibDems if they left it.

Welcome from @libdems.org.uk, but the phrasing re "attempting to rebrand twitter" is wrong: #XIsNotTwitter. Musk took Twitter and twisted it into what he wanted to create, rather than start from scratch like Trump. If you wouldn't join Truth Social, you should leave X. That includes all LibDems.
This is it. #XIsNotTwitter. I bet Andy Murray hasn't set up an account on Truth Social, but that's all X is. But where Trump created a site from scratch, Musk took an existing one just to distort it into what he wanted. If you wouldn't go on Truth Social, don't stay on X.
Time for people and media to stop confusing Twitter and X. #XisNotTwitter. Twitter was broken so that Musk could create X with an existing user base. It's Truth Social without starting from scratch. Users incl media and govt should think: if I wouldn't join Truth Social, I shouldn't stay on X.
Nothing is inevitable, nothing is impossible. I think media (and I use the term in a positive way) has for way too long tolerated X and Musk in fear of losing reach. You can't be on both sides of the game.
