Learning about oneself is a journey. Self-sacrifice for the sake of duty isn't always right, especially when done due to the lack of regards for yourself.
I'm still writing him and he's slowly learning to be a kinder and empathic person towards others- and towards himself.

Not only was he physically isolated from his clansmen, a distance was further built between him and his people because of his role as an heir of a higher being they worship.
This was strongly felt when it comes to his relationship with his two biological brothers, Taiki and Mitsue.

Due to the powerful nature of his ability, it was expected that he will inherit the role of the clan's guardian deity in the future.
The Tsukuyomi clan prides themselves as servants of deities and would not dare walk with them on equal grounds... which is unfortunate for Hisato.

The only one who he was allowed to interact with is the clan's current guardian deity who was powerful enough to come close and teach him how to calm the ability.
Although she had a lot of duties to attend to, so she was still a rare presence.

When he was a child, Hisato's ability to warp reality first manifested. Uncontrolled, it tends to eat the space surrounding him and endangered his clansmen. So while he was still training how to temper it, he had to stay away from everyone and everything to keep them safe.

He was born in a traditional clan who secluded themselves from the world a long time ago, but recently had to open up their doors once again due to the fast-changing times of the modern world.
