Often carried through specific dysfunctional behaviors modeled and repeated over time, 𝘪𝘵 𝘨𝘰𝘦𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴:

𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, shaped by survival-based environments (e.g., war, displacement, emotional repression), may have exhibited emotional unavailability, harsh discipline, denial of affection, or enforced silence around feelings. 

Their children become 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 – and will frequently internalize these messages, leading to behaviors like people-pleasing, emotional codependency, lack of boundaries, or perfectionism. They may become emotionally enmeshed, neglectful, or even subtly controlling, confusing love with obligation or guilt. 

As a result, we, as daughters and 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀, grew up without a clear sense of self-worth or healthy relational boundaries. When unhealed, these patterns make us more likely to be drawn to narcissistic partners - individuals who mirror the emotional invalidation we experienced at home. 

In turn, our 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 may be exposed to gaslighting, emotional instability, favoritism, or neglect - continuing the cycle of trauma until there is conscious intervention, education and healing.
