It's very hard for me to think about Council issues in Dublin without thinking about @dublininquirer.com coverage - its establishment has to be one of the most consequential developments in the city's public sphere in the last decade. So, I'm giving a nod to them on #yourcouncilday too!

In May, Dublin City Council’s Cabra-Glasnevin office set up the first dedicated Street Play committee in the country.

Officials, local communities and elected representatives working together to help children play safely on the streets where they live, which is pretty cool.

On #YourCouncilDay 2025, I want to express my gratitude to Cork City Libraries. Three wonderful collaborations have resulted in the books below. A fourth book, 'Leading the Way', will be submitted today and published in a few months 🤞📚.
