II-15 is up for grabs. A bigger update is a-brewing but this one needed to be available bc some folks were have weird bugs crashing their runs. Targeting gets simpler /bugless.

#ZMAngband #traditionalroguelike #roguelikedev the decision has been taken, targeting was buggy and anyway I never liked it. So,godspeed. But not all is lost,you still can choose the 'c' closest target when ranged and also, you always can go octo-way. Next update will see a number of bugs gone.

#ZMAngband #traditionalroguelike #roguelikedev couple players have mentioned crashing when targeting on win11. Revisited the code a bunch of times. No errors no warnings from the compiler, works ok on win10 /Wine. Considering to take the oldschool way and go full octo way only.
