If TUSC agree with me that they'll struggle to save a single deposit, and Transform will do infinitely worse, then why are they standing, just extending the length of their list of lost deposits? Wouldn't it be better to work out what you've been doing wrong, then try to address the problems? #ZS4PM

A socialist must stand in the #Runcorn by-election. And not with ambitions to save a deposit, or get 0.3% as the predecessor of Transform did in its only outing in a parliamentary by-election, coming 14th out of 15 candidates. Our ambition must be to win. United, we can crush Starmer & Farage #ZS4PM

I have just added #IndependentSocialist to my bio on BlueSky. Why? My guess is that 99% plus of those who identify ourselves as socialists in the UK don't belong to TUSC, Transform or still clinging to Labour, Greens, SNP, etc. We all supported Jeremy Corbyn and today we feel disenfranchised. #ZS4PM

Socialists must discuss strategy and tactics. No pressure on Jeremy Corbyn to join a new party until those who set it up prove we've not launched a Titanic sectarian shipwreck. He wants to be a member of a party, but not one that lacks a shred of democracy or any decent electoral strategy. #ZS4PM

Socialists got crushed at the general election last year. We deserved that. Zarah Sultana, Jeremy Corbyn and Apsana Begum are doing great, but 2 of them got elected on Starmer's coat-tails; although I know ZS was elected on a personal mandate as was JC, and I assume Apsana did it too. #ZS4PM

Incidentally, if you read of my feedback you'll note I asked you to consider backing a socialist candidate in the Runcorn by-election if you thought we selected someone you like. Looks like the left won't unite under a single independent you or JC can back. That makes me very, very sad. #ZS4PM

A socialist candidate must stand in the Runcorn by-election or we hand another propaganda coup to Farage, Trump, Musk, Israel, etc. But, imho, the label shouldn't be TUSC. Nor should it be TransformPolitics. And it's too late for Collective to register as a party, so it can't be them either. #ZS4PM

I am not currently a member of any party but want one. If/when Zarah Sultana joins, and Jeremy Corbyn too, I'd expect Zarah to be elected leader by a massive majority. JC won't stand; he'd prefer ZS to be leader. #ZS4PM

As promised, I did RT your last post despite criticism. I won't RT this one because my criticism is much harsher. I don't think you help any socialist, including yourself, by implying the 1/3 of voters who elected this PLP voted for the change you, or I, want. I would have voted for you, btw. #ZS4PM

I'd like to ask every socialist who sees this post if they've deleted their Twitter account, mothballed it or continue to use it regularly. Basically, I've mothballed. However, whenever I check back I find an endless list of tweets to RT, and they've all got 100s, even many 1,000s of RTs. #ZS4PM

I did repost this and Liked it. I did both despite misgivings. You imply Keir Starmer and Rachel Reeves are betraying a democratic mandate. But only 1/3 voted Labour and, although you asked for a personal mandate I agreed with, virtually no other Labour MP did. Like 41% of voters I abstained. #ZS4PM

Could #Collective have its name on the by election ballot paper? If all groups had not wasted the time since Keir Starmer 'won' a landslide parliamentary majority based on 1/3 of the votes with only 1/5 when the non-registered are included, Collective could have been our candidate's label. #ZS4PM

For all those groups negotiating the creation of a #Collective Party know, there could be a dozen independents on the ballot paper in the by-election. How do we know the candidate we unite behind won't have their vote dispersed among all the rest? We can't. This is insane. #UniteTheSocialists #ZS4PM

Socialists should be able to win the upcoming by-election. But will we? Given the fact we have no party we can't. #Collective is paralyzed. There will be many independents, and possibly several will claim to be THE socialist candidate. Voters will laugh at all of them. #UniteTheSocialists #ZS4PM

The UK MSM has been gushing praise upon Keir Starmer and Tory MPs, every last one of them, have been queuing up to lick his arse. That's because his foreign policy is taken from the Tory Party playbook. But I predict polls won't long reverse recent trends. Labour faces an existential crisIs. #ZS4PM

Keir Starmer's first by-election takes place in a safe Labour seat. But his polls crashed from 1/3 of voters to 1/4. Most likely to benefit is the far-right Donald Trump wannabe: Nigel Farage. But voters prefer us. If only we were there to expose Starmer's left flank in the electoral arena... #ZS4PM

The sectarians I alluded to have a bad reputation on the left. Many reading this probably know who they are. But I won't give them the satisfaction of referring to them by name. If/when they join #Collective, or whatever name we pick, we need to teach them how to debate. #UniteTheSocialists #ZS4PM

No socialist party immunizes itself from sectarians by expulsions. Everyone who is expelled is free to back candidates, including themselves, against our united democratic party. If they spout rubbish, just yawn quietly while they're boring the pants off the rest of us. #ZS4PM #UniteTheSocialists

Who should be allowed to join the party I want? If you like capitalism, why would you want to join, unless MI5 is paying you to spy on us? Could we stop sectarians joining? Imho, we shouldn't try. Let them grow up inside a warm environment. The rest of us will ignore them, not expel them. #ZS4PM

If the only way the PLP could stop Zarah Sultana becoming Prime Minister is for them to form a govt national unity alongside Tory MPs, Lib Dems, and probably Green MPs too, they'd just be postponing the inevitable. Such a govt would be fragile. Socialists would win a landslide next time. #ZS4PM

By-elections are the stepping stones for socialists to form a govt, preferably a majority one since the alternative will be for capitalist MPs to outvote us on absolutely everything. But even if we're just the largest party, we'd create a constitutional crisis. And that's a good thing. #ZS4PM

Something I can't emphasize enough is that while I'll keep adding #ZS4PM to my posts and expect her to be elected overwhelmingly as leader of a new party, being our Prime Ministerial candidate, I don't want her to have a free hand: we need COLLECTIVE leadership. She'd be first among equals.

Apart from age, ethnicity, gender, and religion, Zarah Sultana has another advantage over Jeremy Corbyn: for reasons beyond his control, JC had to make compromises after being elected Labour leader. He was repeatedly put in an impossible position. Zarah never faced such dilemmas. #ZS4PM

One day, Jeremy Corbyn will end up like Tony Benn, hopefully not for decades. Until that day, Zarah Sultana will never have his experience as a socialist activist. But despite her age, Zarah is already as good as JC in terms of politics. Her gender, ethnicity, and religion also help her. #ZS4PM

For two weeks I've changed my Bluesky avatar to a great photo of my 2 favorite MPs: Zarah Sultana and Jeremy Corbyn. I've just added the hashtag #ZS4PM, which I've already explained is to ZS what #JC4PM was to Jeremy Corbyn. I need to explain why I don't just revive the latter. Firstly, his age.....

Voters had zero enthusiasm for Keir Starmer at the general election other than ex-Tory voters, genocide lovers, billionaire tax dodgers and warmongers. His polls collapsed from 1/3 to 1/4. He is voter repellent. If socialists don't unite at the ballot box Nigel Farage will become unstoppable. #ZS4PM
