I don't understand the constant desire for population growth. The earth has a finite amount of resources and that needs to be respected. We don't have the ability to feed and house the people who exist on earth now, why expand?

The issue of non-biodegradable pharmaceuticals building up in the ecology is a big one, however. 100 years ago it wouldn't have mattered so much, the Earth had 1/8th of its current numbers of humans. If we had stayed there, we would have escaped most of the current problems. #ZeroPopulationGrowth
it would behoove us as a gender (and a society) to bottleneck a primary resource for a few (2? 4?) years or until we and our children can live their lives safely in a world that is not trying to actively kill them.
