Inside an abandoned brewery after several parties too many. Everything is pretty smashed. No bodies though, they must have been eaten.

Discarded beer bottle labels bearing the old Bärenquell logo, which actually features a bear, so it’s bearing on more ways than one. Bärenquell means “spring of bears” so I guess we shouldn’t be surprised.

Bärenquell Brauerei was abandoned on April Fool’s Day, 1994 - no joke.

Luna-Lager bunker — Abandoned Berlin A wartime bunker is all that’s left of the former Luna-Lager labor camp at Schönholzer Heide, now a grassy, pretty wild and pleasant 35-hectare park.

Please don't try get into the Luna Lager bunker in Schönholzer Heide. As per NABU, it's now home to protected bats who are likely to die if disturbed. The rest of the park is fine to visit, of course, and there are a couple of abandoned embassies nearby...

Eighty years ago today, Claus von Stauffenberg flew out of Rangsdorf with a bomb in a briefcase for Hitler.

The airfield is abandoned now, left to wallow in quiet contemplation of what might have been.
